Welcome to the 4 Corners World Music Network

Practical music-making for schools, colleges and community settings - from early years upwards.

4 Corners World Music Network is based in the North East of England. We provide workshops, performances, and music making resources for teachers, including Publications, Videos & CDs.

We use call & response, improvisation, riffs, drones and simple structures as a way into music-making, gathering songs and rhythms from around the world. These are universal strands in world music and jazz, which work as well with tiny tots as with experienced older musicians, to making exciting, inspiring, original music.

We work with exciting world and jazz musicians, bringing professionals into classrooms as models to young people, invigorating the music curriculum for youngsters wishing to get involved in music.
